Stage 2. Camprodon – La Seu d’Urgell

Although is not the stage of higher mileage or greater positive elevation, it is the queen stage with almost 3,000m of cumulative altitude and one of the longest, but the tour is amazing for its hardness and also for its beauty. The ascent to Coll de Pradell with over 1000m of altitude, ramps of an average  of 23% and slope of various kilometres with an average of 15% make this the hardest stage of Transpyr Road. We roll through the Ripollès, the Berguedà and Alt Urgell. We cycle back roads with sections of cement, very little traffic local roads and a stretch of greenway. High mountain scenery surrounding the Natural Park of Cadi-Moixeró and the emblematic Pedraforca: Spectacular!  Arrival situated in the old town of La Seu d’Urgell. The Coll de Pradell (1734m) is the highest and demanding mountain pass from this edition of Transpyr and is considered the hardest of Catalonia.
